This permeable paver project in Hampstead NH received state permitting and approvals approximately 2 months after the application process started. All excavation in NH within 250 feet of the high water mark of a pond, lake, stream, or the ocean requires state permitting and falls under the laws of the Shoreline Protection Act. Interstate Landscape provided the design and product specifications for the project. All sub-base, base, and bedding materials were open graded clean stone material. The sub-soils were sandy so a full exfiltration system design was chosen. Genest Acadia pavers manufactured in Sanford ME were used. Anchor 3″ and 6″ Highland Stone was used for the retaining wall system. The fire pit is also an Anchor Wall system product. Granite steps quarried in Barre VT were supplied by Swenson Granite. Nighlighting fixtures were added to enhance safety and evening visibility.
